Cookie Dough Hummus
A dessert hummus full of creamy sweet flavor and healthful ingredients! The whole family will love dipping fruit or crackers in this cookie dough hummus (or just eating it with a spoon!).
Servings: 12 2-tbsp servings
- 1 14 oz can of chickpeas also known as garbanzo beans
- 1/3 cup cashew butter or other nut butter
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Add all ingredients (except mini chocolate chips) to a food processor or high speed blender.
Process until smooth (2-3 minutes), stopping every 30 seconds to so to scrape down the sides.
Once smooth, fold in mini chocolate chips.
Cover and store in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
*Nutrient information is an estimate based on a 2 tbsp serving of cookie dough hummus. Feel free to substitute any nut butter for cashew butter, although the flavor will change. (if you use PB it will taste more like peanut butter cookie dough!).
